For this assignment, vernacular typography was collected through photos from a range of outside resources and environments. Most of the first batch of photos collected were taken at the Walt Disney Family Museum at the Presidio. Paying close attention to the typographic form, anatomy, classification, and texture of the signs, I was able to explore the natural language of surroundings and gain a deeper understanding of the role typography plays in everyday lives.
